Phew. Long time no talk. This is why I could never charge for a newsletter, I am not even consistent with my free ones.

I wanted to send out a few things before posting on stories because even though I am not a mega influencer, I have been told my followers are selling things out. Which is wild to me. But, a lot of my favorite things are from small businesses, so I completely understand limited supply and inventory. 1. Maha Leather Jacket

   1. This is SUCH a good leather jacket - especially at 40% off. It is rarely in stock, which is why if you want it- buy now. It is already out of stock in a few sizes. It is soft leather that only gets more comfortable with each wear. I took my true size (3X). I will say, it is a little short on me, but I am 5’11 and I think I like the cropped look with dresses, anyways. In the top right picture, I am wearing a 1X (Missy’s jacket).

   2. It has neutral zipper and buttons so it is easy to match with other things.

2. Merly Denim Jacket

   1. I have never liked denim jackets, but love this one. It is so soft and already broken in - like you have had it for years. I took my true size (3X) and bought it in the “clean rinse” so there is not as much distressing. I just wore it for family pictures.

Other things I like (all up to 3X, unless otherwise noted):

• This cable knit sweater that is 100% cotton AND NOT ITCHY.

• Plaid overcoat (do not own, but its in my cart)

• Brown maxi skirt (only up to XXL)

Sephora Favorites

Okay, I will have A LOT of Sephora content coming. This sale is fun to shop, but it is not usually the best sale you will see unless you are buying value sets or something that is inexpensive and you can get free shipping - oh and Sephora collection items because they are 30% off.

However, I know this and I usually still go a little overboard on this sale. I am just a Sephora loyal customer. I almost always have good customer service, they have free shipping, their app and website are organized well and I signed up for free same-day delivery.

1. Sephora Favorites Candle Sampler, $60

   

   

   This will probably sell out tomorrow.

   This candle set contains five samplers and then a certificate to redeem for a full-size candle out of the samples. I priced out the samples by their full size cost and found that just the samples alone are worth $47. Then depending on which candle you redeem for, it could be worth a total value between $81 - $117.

   I did buy this sampler this year and they are more fall forward than years past. Both the Boy Smells candle and the Maison Margiela candle are cedar forward and smell like a cozy fall night. The Maison Louis Marie is sandalwood forward.

   If you are interested in this, buy it tonight. Unless you are Rouge. In which case, buy tomorrow. Just do not wait to check out. It has sold out quickly the past two years.

2. Vegamour Scalp Massager, $18

   I got this scalp massager for free last year after ordering the serum and it is truly the best scalp massager out there. I have purchased several of them - especially the cheap ones from Amazon. It feels SOOOO good and luxurious. But the thing that sets it apart from other scalp massagers is the fact that your fingers fit in it just right and it is comfortable to use. Oh and the massagers are not too flimsy, but just firm enough. I use every time I am in the shower during shampoo and conditioner.

3. Skinfix pimple cream, $30

   I do not get a lot of pimples, but when I do they are huge hormonal cysts that hurt like hell and are super red. I used to use the Peter Thomas Roth gel, but I actually think I like this one better. For me, it really helps with redness while also minimizing the size.

4. Ole Henriksen Lip Balm, $22

   I have used this lip balm before and liked it! But it was not until it came out in a neutral berry tint that made me fall in love. The color lingonberry jam smells delicious and just brings out the natural pink of your lips. If you were around for the lip oil stick days (RIP), this is very similar in color

   

   5. YSL Skin Tint, $44

   This is still the best skin tint I have used. I have dry skin during the fall/winter and combo skin in the summer and it always looks so natural on me - glowy, but a soft matte. I did end up buying the Hourglass skin tint to try and compare, which I also like, but not as much as this. I also tried the Fenty Foundation stick, which is also nice, but I think it is hard to blend in and probably not good for those with dry skin. You want to shade up one from what you normally would buy. I bought 7 and am not usually Light/Medium.
