Live from New York - it’s - Saturday Sales Segment! I have been lonely lately, so I asked Brittany to come hang out with me in my office while I worked last weekend. And being the great bestie/assistance she is, she came. We wanted to get a massage at this one place in Columbus during her day off, but they were all booked. Then a thought occurred to me - I had two credits for a massage in NYC and some flight vouchers - let’s go to NYC - Basically it was free! Britt said it was funny to see the girl math mathing in real time.

In the past my mom guilt would have never let me take this type of trip. But having an almost 10 year old with her own social life is so nice because I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything. It is a direct one hour flight from Columbus, so we flew in Thursday evening and will fly home tomorrow morning. It has been so good for me. The best Mother’s Day treat for myself.

The best deal

1. Our Favorite Straightener is still half off. I am not sure how long this will last on Amazon, so if you have been wanting it - I would check out now.

   1. The BioIonic Flat Iron straightener is something I bought a few years ago when it was half off. The selling points for me were:

      1. Vibrating Plates - I usually have pass over my hair several times to get it frizz-free, but with the vibrating plates, it helps the heat distribute more evenly.

      2. Goes up to 460 degrees - I know. Your hair does not need that high of heat. But I like that there are options.

         1. Definitely use a heat protectant. You have to use a heat protectant before straightening and it should be one that can be used on dry hair. I really like the new Oribe Gold Lust Heat Protectant. Originally, I received a sample with my Sephora order. I could not get over how it protected my hair AND made it so shiny. So I bought a full-size. Worth it. And it is 12 oz.

      3. You can curl with it too. Here is the YouTube on how to do that. So if you are in a pinch - it can do both!

      4. Dual voltage meaning you can take it anywhere in the world, but you still need a plug adapter - just don’t have to worry about a power converter.

1. Tried and True Favorites - Things we have and love.

   1. Somerset Dress - This dress looks so good on everyone.

      1. I brought the Somerset Shirt dress and LOVE it. It is like the Somerset Dress, but has a collar. I have it in brown.

      2. Britt is 5’5 and can wear the regular, but if you’re shorter, you will want to get the petite version.

   2. I have not posted this white denim dress yet, but I bought it and love it. It is so flattering. I never thought I could pull off a denim dress, but I think with the buttons it makes it easy to adjust based on where you are going. I thought it would look cute unbuttoned with a scarf, but I think it would also look good for a summer concert. XS to L, 1X to 3X

   3. I love these Paige jeans. They are stretchy, but do not lose shape. They’re expensive, but I have never felt so confident in jeans before!

2. They also have up to 30% off of candles, bags, and perfumes. And some kitchen stuff. We really love this purse. Going to try and find at an Anthropologie here to model it. It looks designer.

Madewell 20% off

Madewell and LTK have a 20% off code this weekend with LTK20. Here is a collection of my favorites. Do not sleep on their shoes. Especially if you are a size 12. I am so excited they extended their shoe size selection. I also love this shirt. And this card holder. These sandals are really cool - they have a toe separator so they have the similar vibes to Jil Sander. And WAY cheaper. These white flats and shirt (runs very oversized).

Target Clothes, Shoes and Accessories 20% off

I love these pants. They would make amazing work pants. They do not feel like cheap crepey pants, either. They are stretchy, but not too stretchy. Stretchy enough for me to size down, though. I love the gingham version.

If you ever wanted to partake in the mesh shoe trend, these are really cute. And surprisingly comfortable because they have a memory foam sole. I ended up sizing down in these. But I have the hardest shoe size - 11.5. So take that with a grain of salt.

I need to start getting ready for the day. I will leave you with this video. I keep trying to use my Octobuddy to stick to windows for Outfits of the Day, but then my phone inevitably falls to the ground.

In this video, Britt just came back from going up to the hotel room to get BioFreeze. And then realizes when she comes back that she forgot to get the BioFreeze. Traveling with two people who have ADHD is HARD at night when their meds wear off, and you never know where you will end up. Sound on for true laughs.
