A top ten (really 11) Black Friday Sale Favorites

What a November. I have consistently worked 12+ hour days, and I am not even sure what I have to show for it? That is the hard part of this job for me - the hidden time sucks. You know. The things that don’t seem like they take a long time, but they do?

We had a great Thankgsiving. Kelly, my sister in law, always cooks and hosts her family, my family and my in-laws. She picks up Rebecca on Wednesdays, they get Starbucks and then spend all day cooking. Rebecca said it is one of her favorite days of the year. She gets to learn how to host (because she is not learning from me), cook and spend some 1:1 time with her aunt.

Unfortunately when we got home and I was working through sales and this list, Rebecca came in complaining of stomach pain. She has only ever vomited once that she can remember (she spit up all the time as a baby), so she was unsure of what she was feeling. Until she got sick. And sick again. And again. She was so scared and anxious that none of us slept all night. Thankfully she had a version of the bug I had a few weeks ago and it came and went. But man - being sick during the holidays is no fun! Especially with this job!

Nonetheless, I persisted. I posted our Black Friday Sales Guide, a list of all of the brands we regularly post for clothing, beauty, home, etc. And something new this year - a top ten list from Missy and I on things we recommend.

We curated this list based on the following qualifications:

• Sale frequency (is this actually a good sale? Is it on sale frequently?)

• Would we buy at full price? (this is always a great test of if you love something)

• Has it improved our lives in some way (whether through joy of using, improving sleep, etc)
